Kate Amundsen is an award-winning actor born and partly raised in Los Angeles.

However, her more formative years were spent in the mountains of Provo, Utah and later Sandia Park, New Mexico where she began her career “starring” in home-made VHS tapes and plays performed for her parents. At 13, she successfully convinced them to move back to LA to pursue her dreams and the rest is history! Kate is proud to have landed the lead role in Niki Byrne’s upcoming film 408 Op.1 shot on film by the masterful Antonio Calvache. Kate has also garnered praise for her work as the titular role in Donna, for which she has won Best Actress in film festivals across the country. She is also no stranger to TV where you can catch her on hit shows such as Shameless, 911-Lone Star and Ray Donovan to name a few. Kate’s love for exploring humanity and diving deep into story combined with her unique Mormon upbringing guides and inspires her acting and writing. For nearly a decade, she studied with Anthony Meindl in his Master Class and continues her acting studies with Stuart Rogers Theater Tribe today.
